Job Responsibilities
  • Install, test, and commission electrical wiring, circuits, and distribution systems in accordance with BS 7671 and current regulations
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and site plans
  • Install and connect lighting, power, fire alarm, and data systems
  • Carry out fault finding, diagnostics, and remedial works as required
  • Ensure all work complies with site-specific RAMS, HSE standards, and building regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, tests, and certifications
  • Coordinate with site managers, other trades, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition

Educational Requirements
  • Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, 18th Edition)
  • JIB/ECS Gold Card or equivalent certification
  • Valid ECS/CSCS card
  • Proven experience working on construction sites (minimum 3 years)
  • Strong knowledge of BS 7671 wiring regulations
  • Competent in first and second fix installations
  • Experience with commercial and/or industrial installations preferred
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and professional attitude
